Jeff Wed.Apr.11/07

Hey onemoretime! Thanks for the big thumbs up.Yes we had a great show in Winnipeg. For those of you who missed it and I don't just mean Electroman(sorry bro')we had a great evening.Sold right out and what a fantastic noisy mob!!!!! I must say Winnipeg knows how to rock and it is still one of the great music cities in this country. Now if we could only fix the winter weather...
onemoretime... you said some nice things that I really appreciate. It means a lot to me personally that you would notice my playing when accompanying a singer like Kenny.Thanks.I'm glad you liked the new song too(for those of you who missed the CBC Radio 1 show the song was I Don't Wanna Talk About It).It is one that Kenny has personally loved for years and finally has had the chance to record and I may be just a little biased here but you will love the recorded version. As a producer I have worked with and continue to work with all kinds of singers and I will say not many bring to the table what Kenny does. Not only does he check his ego at the door but he always sings in tune and well...he just has that unmistakable voice.Singers like that make producers look good.Having said that, yes,I do bring something to the party as well but enough about me.lol.The staff at CBC were great to us and it was truly a crazy day there with the provincial budget thing but as I say we were well taken care of and Margeaux Watt, who conducted the interview, was knowledgable and she really was enjoying the time we had so thanks CBC for all the good vibes!Good idea too about posting some of the new song clips.I'll get to that asap.Black is Black is another great song fav of Kenny's and it just fits in with the old Streetheart stuff so well.It was originally done by a Spanish one hit wonder band called Los Bravos for you trivia buffs. Kind of a quasi Motown thang which we have brought into the 21st. century.Watch for that posting.I also have some new photos from a few or our shows earlier this year in the pipeline that I'll be posting as soon as I get the DVD to edit.We also have some new Streetheart baseball caps to add to our merch for the summer weather which will be hot again I'm sure(thank you fossil fuel).Wow look at the time...gotta go and get on with my life...pay taxes, pay bills, pay for business lunches with beautiful clients... but please don't feel sorry for me...lol.Thanks again for the feedback out there.Keep it coming.
Later.J.

Well Jeff, I think when people are coming to see you play whenever you come to town, no matter how often it says something about what you have to offer. There are a growing group of people who are always at your shows. I have been to most of the Winnipeg area shows and while I always enjoy the band live, Thursday's show was special. Even my wife said the show had a little extra punch. To be quite frank it seemed that everyone in the band felt it too. Kudos, The show was a week ago and I'm still raving about it.
How does one get one of those baseball caps? Selling them at the shows or will we be able to purchase online? I didn't get by the merchandise table at the show, I didn't want to give up my spot upfront. Thanks for the information on Black is Black. I like that kind of trivia. What can you tell us about the new album? Is it all covers or have you written some new songs? I feel like a kid at Christmas, I really can't wait!!!
I also had a question Jeff, how come you don't perform anything from Dancing With Danger at the live shows? I mean I know the catalogue is large and you can't play everything people want to hear. Just a question, I'm curious. I think the album didn't get the attention it deserved.
I wanted to tell you Jeff that you have a new, younger fan base starting up. My five year old and my three year old love your stuff. They recognize most of the songs the radio plays and they sing along. When One More Time comes on, watch out. That's their favorite. Loud singing, hands waving, it's great. They are looking forward to the Portage la Prairie show in August to see you guys live. See you soon. Thanks Jeff.

Wow! I can not wait to hear some of the tunes online! I too feel like a kid at Christmas!

I have to agree with you, Onemoretime, Dancing With Danger is a GREAT record. I have always loved that album, and can not wait to get my hands on a reissue.

Trivia Time... Ace Frehley of KISS covered the Streetheart song Dancing With Danger On his Second Sighting Album.

Jeff... Keep up the good Work! And I hope you guys make it out to Regina for a show soon!

Does anyone have any Streetheart video from the 70's & 80's? I remember they did the CBC TV show Live After Dark (I think it was called that), around 1980. I'd also like to see video from their CITI FM Birthday Bash at the Holiday Inn.

I'd also like to get my hands on some pre-Streetheart material, such as the singles that Witness put out.

We are really looking forward to the show in Coquitlam in May. We are sitting in the caberet seating near the stage.

Hi Ferris Clan

That would be very cool stuff to get your hands on. I wonder if Streetheart has some footage from the 70's and 80's that they could post on the website for us. It would be a lot of fun to watch.

I never knew Witness released singles. If anybody has information on these tracks please let me know about it. I am very interested.

Hi Ferris Clan I did see a retro video { or film } from I think the late seventies or early eighties on Much Music perhaps you can contact them and see if they have something kicking around.I can't for the life of me remember the song but the boys were pounding out the tune and I beleive Kenny was wearing golf gloves in the video. Cheers

Can anyone tell me why the complete catalogue is not available for purchase? I have not searched every site on the planet, but have searched the major ones such as amazon, etc. I have most of the albums (sound way better than CD's) but would like to also obtain the complete catalogue on CD.
